Mission Statement
Trinity Bay’s mission is the facilitation of community empowerment through quality training and ethical guidance. Further, Trinity Bay will serve as a bridge toward employment for those who successfully complete its training processes.
About Us
Trinity Bay was created as a vehicle to respond to the needs of a community of people who were being overlooked. It was founded with the goal of establishing career readiness for students interested in entering the trade industry in St. James, Louisiana, and the immediate surrounding areas.
Our History
The concept for Trinity Bay Vocational Institute Inc. was developed by industry professionals who recognized a need for skilled labor among a population who was not considered college bound. Trinity Bay Vocational Institute Inc. was founded with the goal of establishing career readiness for students to enter trade industries based in the Louisiana area. The course taught at Trinity Bay Vocational Institute Inc. will prepare program participants for immediate hire in the electrical trade.

Lavern Jones
Director of Education
Ms. Jones has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. She has 22 years of service at Bayer Agriculture, 13 years of service at Entergy Corp. and 30+ years of experience in Plant Process, Technician Training, Laboratory Analysis and Planning.

Inez Shaw
School Coordinator
Ms. Shaw has spent the majority of her career as a system Analyst with the Department of Defense for 32 years. She holds degrees in criminal justice as well as business administration.

Philicere Jordan
School Secretary
Ms. Jordan is an ambitious individual boasting degrees in IT and business. With over 30 years in the workforce across an array of industries, she is capable of handling any challenge.

Diana Spencer
School Administrator
Ms. Diana served two terms as St. James Parish District 5 school board member, six years as Vice-President. She's on CAB for Koch Industries, CAP for The Mosaic Company. Teaches English at Nicholls State University for 40 years, involved in department and university committees.

Kimble Octave
Instructor
Mr. Octave has over 25 years of experience as a process technician, and boiler operator.
He has extensive experience in operating, regulating, servicing, and making repairs on various equipment. He is certified in ISO 9000, and works as an internal auditor, obtain certification as an operator.
